The infamous duo who rocked suburban America with controversy are scheduled for a comeback. Beavis and Butt-Head, the brainchildren of Mike Judge, are getting ready for another film appearance, only this time in live action.
During the mid-nineties, a cartoon show on MTV featured two young degenerate suburban kids who had nothing better to do but watch music videos that no one else wanted to, and make anal and fart jokes. Some say they were just misunderstood, but no matter how you put it, watching them with their antics were one of the most hilarious things you could watch after school. And it also offended your parents!
Judge has commented, “For some reason, I used to hate the idea for years. Now, I think maybe there’s something there,” when asked about his plans for a live-action remake. Judge even mentioned how Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp showed interest in playing Beavis back the 90’s.
But Johnny Depp groupies might as well keep their panties on, because rumors are now pointing to Jon Heder (most likely Butt-Head) and Sean William Scott (most likely Beavis/The Great Cornholio) for the roles.
Not much else has been revealed about the planned remake, but be sure to check in once in a while for more news.
