With the coming release of Street Fighter 4, Capcom is getting ready for a big pay day. Announced recently at their blog, they are conducting a poll to see which Street Fighter characters are fans most excited about to hold at the palm of their hand. Capcom is said to release figurines together with the much anticipated videogame.

One can see it as a case of promotional tactics to get more people to buy the figurines. It’s actually ingenious in it’s intention. Naturally, the first figures that will be released will be the ones most people voted for. So the “majority” who took the poll would think “Oh Oh, I voted for that, I made that happen! hence I’ll buy it!” When in truth we all know Capcom’s going to release a whole set anyway.

Still, this is good news for Street Fighter enthusiasts and toy collectors alike.
