Besides having a kick-ass title, the newest installment to the legendary James Bond Series, Quantum of Solace, has definitely got a lot going for it.
Being the direct sequel to Hollywood blockbuster Casino Royale, and also Daniel Craig’s sophomoric portrayal of the debonair spy, we’d all think that the good news stop there. But add the fact that a lovely Avon girl named Gemma Arterton will grace us with her luscious curves and flawless skin on the silver screen, and with the recent announcement that reigning R&B queen Beyonce will be facing off with music’s version of a scandal vixen, Amy Winehouse, it’s looking to be a surefire hit.
Despite the news of a string of bad luck shrouding the set of the new movie, namely two near fatal car crashes (utterly destroying two brand new Aston Martins–ouch!) and constant theft on the set, all this so called unfortunate events may actually benefit the movie in terms of media coverage and attention. There nothing bad about free publicity.
While a synopsis is already available through various websites, we decided not to spoil anything for anyone regarding the story. However, we are at liberty to announce that the plot will take place in countries around the world such as Austria, South America, and Italy. Of course, we also mentioned that Quantum of Solace carries on where Casino Royale left off. It’s going to be based on Ian Flemming’s original story.
Set to have an almost worldwide simultaneous release, the movie will premier on American shores on November 7th. Directed by Marc Forster, the new James Bond flick will also welcome back Dame Judi Dench as M, and introduce new characters in the James Bond family played by Olga Kurylenko, and Jefferey Wright.
