French novelist Michael Thaler wrote a 233-page novel sans action words. The book is called Le Train de Nulle Part (The Train From Nowhere) and here’s a sample from Wikipedia:
Quelle aubaine !
Fool’s luck! A vacant seat, almost, in that train. A provisional stop, why not? So, my new address in this nowhere train: car 12, 3rd compartment, forward. Once again why not?
Apperently, the French dude is very different from ALL the writers in the world. Unlike others, he chooses not to use verbs because he thinks of it as “a weed in a field of flowers” which he believes if he disregards verbs in what he is writing, then the language will speak for itself.
