The overly-antipated The Dark Knight hasn’t hit the theatres yet, but the early buzz on the story details of its next installment are already getting the fans excited! Lucky for us, we already know what will happen after this movie thanks to a reliable tattletale who gave us great scoop!

It’s pretty obvious that we won’t be seeing any more of Joker after The Dark Knight. But for a while, the producers actually planned for Joker’s character to stay, and even considered going through a normal casting upon Heath Ledger’s death. Obviously, it’s not a good idea to cast some filler act for the part that was so perfect for an actor who recently died so they scraped off the idea. Now that Joker’s out of the picture, it’s pretty expected that Riddler will be the next batman flick feind. Who will play the role? We’ll find out pretty soon.

There is news that the next Batman will be besed on its graphic novels Dark Victory and The Long Halloween. The Long Halloween follows the plot path of The Dark Knight which includes the creation of Two-Face and the uprising of the group of famous villains. Dark Victory is the sequel of Halloweed which carried on with the introduction of Robin, and if the next Batman movie will follow suit, then maybe it’s the return of the famous avenger’s sidekick. It’s definitely thrilling to find out who will join Christian Bale and Michael Caine in the Gotham City superhero ensemble. Christopher Nolan will again direct, but plans to make it his last Batman movie.
