How would like to have a piece of history on your wrist? I bet you would, and so did Swiss watchmaker Romaine Jerome, maker of the $300,00 Day and Night watch.
Not only does this rustic timepiece looks so steampunk-cool with actual little metal parts from the historic sunk ship of Titanic, it tottally can’t tell you what time it is! The best part about it is, He sold the watch 2 days after its release! He claimed that anyone can buy a watch that tells time — only a truly discerning customer can buy one that doesn’t. This Day and Night watch can only tell if its day or night, because of the microscopic tourbillion devices in it.
The man sure is proud of his uncanny piece of watch, as he told Reuters:
“When you ask people what is the ultimate luxury, 80 percent answer ‘time’. Then when you look at other studies, 67 percent don’t look at their watch to tell what time it is” .
The guy truly is a deviant craftsman, but I bet he doesn’t catch his fave shows on time!
